Two more Ubuntu workstations went out the door to a local non-profit group yesterday. Complete with mouse/monitor/keyboard at no charge. They were machines that were dropped off for recycling , because they were too slow. Additional memory, new OS(Linux) and they are plenty fast for web browsing and general office work. Thanks to all that have dropped off PC's. Helping someone work, is better than running it through a shredder.

Original post blogged on b2evolution.

Why not be released from the bonds of your OS.

Some say Linux is a religion, why not agree?

At the Church of Tux, our goal is to help people become enlightened.

You need not walk in ignorance, when you can soar in enlightenment. Knowledge is power, and knowledge can be bestowed upon you freely and without persecution. You have free will, how you chose to exercise that is up to you.

In OS religions you can be part of many or devout to one. So come one, come all, whether you are Linux, BSD, OS2, OS390, Xenix, Minix, DOS, Windows or even SCO. You are welcome, and can find your way under one of the many dialects of Linux!

Tux shall set you free!

Original post blogged on b2evolution.
