When you are almost done, you will be kicked......

The majority of the sanding is done. Then a crack appears at the bottom of the screen area. In your head you think, it's just been sanded down too far, a little filler, smoothing, and I'll be done. If life was only that easy.

What the reality turns out to be, is that the epoxy only hardened a thin layer at the bottom of the screen. Inside it was still mushy. That means that most of the bottom had to be cut out and re-filled.

The rest of the epoxy did fully cure, no other soft spots were found. This means that instead of finishing and mounting the screen, about three days are left to finish it again.
