Tux Truck Update
Interior:
I have cut all of the holes in the carpet to mount the seats and console. The new carpet does not have the same amount of padding that the old carpet had, so I will have to add some underneath the console, since it was fitted to the old carpet before removal.
All of the seats have been re-covered, and are fully assembled, waiting for re-installation.
Before I start bolting the seats and trim back in, I will be installing RaamMat BXT and ensolite foam on the floor and rear cab surfaces. I spent a lot of time reading about different types of sound deadening materials, and RaamMat seems to be the best bang-for-the-buck. It is butyl based as opposed to asphalt based, which seems to be better in all of the testing and reviews. There are cheaper alternatives, and more expensive ones, but this seems to be the best one for what I want in this project.

Electrical
The power cable to the second battery has been run, and the storage box under the hood has been removed to make way for a second battery. The electric fans have been installed and wired.
Suspension:
The shocks have been ordered for the dual-mount front shock brackets I am making. The shocks that I have settled on are Pro-Comp ES1000, and the black/white coloring will match the truck. Looking for shocks by vehicle is easy, but looking for them by mounting and compressed/extended heights is a little more difficult. Pro-Comp listed the specs for the shocks at the end page of their catalog. I settled on the EXP129500 ES1000 which has an extended length of 29inches and a compressed length of 17inches. The ride-level height I was looking for is around 22inches, so these should work out fine. They are actually listed as rear shocks for the 88-98 chevy trucks with a 6inch lift. The mounting is for a hoop on top/bottom. Which is the same as the rancho's that I have on the back, but I had to make brackets for the rear shocks, since they originally were a stem mount. I will probably replace the rear shocks once I am done with the fronts, but am trying to only order what I need right now.
