« Making room for both amps.......Glued, Screwed, and an MTX 5604! »

Carpet installed on the speaker enclosure.

The carpet and vinyl showed up on thursday as predicted. After spending a somewhat large amount of time looking for the 1-7/8 hole saw to cut out the tweeter holes, I cut out the 5.25 speaker holes, and gave up on thursday. Friday I bought another 1-7/8 hole saw, and finished the cuts. Working with the carpet and adhesive went fairly well. I did the large frontal area friday, then removed it saturday to recess a few screw heads that were not quite flush. Working around the enclosure I was able to complete the carpeting on saturday, and bolt down the 5604 amp. I found a new 3404 online, and sent the broken one out to be fixed.

Next up. Mount the speakers, wire the amps, and move forward in the cab.
