Back to the console......

I am on to the work of setting up/finishing the console.

I have made the pieces to cover the top of the console. The bezel around the LCD is cut from aluminum, and fits up tight to the dash. At the lower right hand side, I have mounted the Phidgets LCD controller.

The lower left side will be used for switches. I had to mount the LCD controller offset to the right to clear the cables going into the bottom of the LCD.

There will be cupholders and a controller and mouse built into the center plate. It's cut from steel, because I was out of aluminum case sides.

Once I have drilled and mounted everything, I'll wrap it all with black vinyl.
